Terms of Service

Invest-like is currently in pre-launch / preview. The official launch is July 1, 2026. Until then:

By accessing or using Invest-like ("the Service"), you accept these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't accept them, don't use the Service. We may update the Terms; material changes will be announced via email or an in-app banner. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

The Service is operated by the provider identified in the Impressum. Contact: hello@invest-like.com.

Invest-like is an educational research tool that scores publicly traded stocks against documented investing frameworks (Buffett, Graham, Lynch, Greenblatt). It provides screening, AI-assisted analysis ("Buffett Brain"), and portfolio simulation. All content is informational and educational.

Nothing on Invest-like is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. We do not give personalised recommendations. Information shown — including AI-generated verdicts, scores, and simulations — is for educational purposes only and may contain errors or omissions. Markets carry risk; you can lose money. Past performance, including anything in our simulator, is hypothetical and not indicative of future results. Make your own decisions, and consider consulting a licensed advisor.

You must give accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Don't share your account with anyone else. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service or violate these Terms.

Sign-up is open to anyone aged 16 or older.

All content, code, design, branding, and trademarks of the Service are owned by or licensed to Invest-like. You may not copy, redistribute, or build derivative products without our written permission. Your own data (your watchlist, your settings) remains yours and is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Paid plans become available from July 1, 2026. Until then no payments are taken. When paid plans go live:

EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Because Invest-like is a digital service that is provided immediately on activation, you explicitly consent — by starting your subscription — that we begin providing the service during the withdrawal period. Per § 356 Abs. 5 BGB, this means your right of withdrawal ends once the service has begun.

You can still cancel future billing periods at any time (see section 8).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep things accurate, but we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific information is accurate or current. Statutory consumer warranties under German law remain unaffected.

We are liable without limit for damages arising from intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and any liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). For ordinary negligence, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damages typical for a contract of this kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses arising from your reliance on information provided by the Service for actual investment decisions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

For consumers, the place of jurisdiction is your place of residence. For business customers, the place of jurisdiction is the location stated in the Impressum.

If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid, the rest stays in force. The invalid part will be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its intent.
